Sodium Metasilicate
Short answer
Sodium metasilicate is an inorganic alkaline silicate, Na₂SiO₃, used in detergent, industrial cleaning, metal degreasing, textile processing and water treatment. Anhydrous grades are specified at Na₂O 50.0–51.5% and SiO₂ 45.0–48.0%; pentahydrate at Na₂O 28–30% and SiO₂ 28–30%. Packing is a 25 kg PP woven bag with PE liner, or a 1,000 kg FIBC. Full-container orders are quoted FOB Qingdao. Below one full container the sale is EXW, collected from the plant. Minimum order is 1 tonne.
