FAQ

Is sodium metasilicate the same as water glass / liquid sodium silicate?
No. Sodium metasilicate is a solid alkaline salt supplied as anhydrous, pentahydrate or granules, used here for slurry alkalinity and electrolyte control. Liquid sodium silicate (water glass) is a different product, specified by modulus and solids. This site quotes SMS. Multi-product factory buyers who also need water glass or other silicates should use the company site for that wider line rather than treating this page as a water-glass substitute.
Can we sample before a bulk ceramic order?
Yes. Send the intended grade, monthly volume, packing and destination with the RFQ. A laboratory sample can be arranged before the first commercial shipment so the slip trial is done on the same hydrate you intend to buy.
