A 20-foot container takes 27 mt of 25 kg bags without pallets. On pallets, anhydrous 25 kg bags load at 24 mt and pentahydrate 25 kg bags load at 22 mt. TDS files cover the four sodium metasilicate forms. No TDS is published for instant powder.

A 20-foot container palletised carries five tonnes less than the same container loaded loose. Loose bags are unloaded by hand at destination; palletised bags are unloaded by forklift.
