ICIF 2026 Shanghai — What We Ask Buyers Before a Zhongzhi Chemical Factory Quote

Shandong Zhongzhi Chemical joined ICIF China / China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Week at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (15–17 September 2026). On the show floor, most serious buyers do not ask for a “list price” first. They ask whether we can lock grade, documents and shipment timing for a real monthly volume.

Zhongzhi Chemical met buyers at booth E3B72. The six fields we asked on the floor are the same six fields the online RFQ still needs before a factory quote.

Why this matters for sodium metasilicate buyers

Sodium metasilicate is not one SKU. Anhydrous, pentahydrate and granules behave differently in detergent powders, I&I cleaners and process make-up. A factory quote only becomes useful when the RFQ already carries the commercial fields our export desk needs.

The checklist we used at ICIF (and still use online)

These are the six fields we asked buyers to bring to the booth — and the same six fields the online RFQ form requires before we quote.

• Grade / form — anhydrous, pentahydrate or granules
• Application — detergent, industrial cleaning, ceramic slurry, textile, etc.
• Monthly quantity (MT)
• Packing — 25 kg bags or jumbo bags
• Destination port
• Buyer type — factory, distributor or trader
